Corbin Smith

  • University of Southern California and The University of Iowa, Corbin’s playing and coaching background has shaped his deep understanding of leadership, accountability, and performance. He has coached at multiple levels, serving as a position coach and special teams coordinator at the University of Missouri and Arkansas State University, as well as a high school head coach where he led a full culture transformation within his program. He has a master's degree in special education.An author, athlete mentor, consultant, and speaker, Corbin has developed proven leadership, culture, and character development systems used by programs nationwide. Through the Foundation, he is committed to equipping athletes, coaches, and athletic departments with the tools to lead with purpose, build strong, sustainable cultures, and succeed far beyond the scoreboard. His work is driven by a clear mission: developing leaders, strengthening programs, and changing lives through the power of athletics.

Oscar McBride

  • Arizona Cardinals. Following his playing career, he transitioned into education and coaching, earning a master’s degree while dedicating his work to developing young people through athletics. He currently serves as the head football coach at Bishop Montgomery High School, where he is known for building culture, mentoring athletes, and leading program transformation. An author of Relentless Wisdom and a leader in youth development initiatives, Oscar’s work centers on relationships, accountability, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential. As a board member, he is a key asset to the Foundation, helping drive its mission to develop leaders and create lasting impact through athletics.

Derek Price

  • understands firsthand the demands placed on high-performing athletes and the challenges that come with transitions beyond the game. Following his playing career, Dr. Price built an accomplished career in healthcare and business, serving as a CEO within major hospital systems and founding multiple successful orthopedic and wellness clinics.His work later evolved into leading behavioral health and addiction treatment organizations, where he confronted the mental health challenges faced by athletes, veterans, and high achievers. This experience fuels his passion for helping individuals build balance, resilience, and purpose in their lives. As the founder of Club Faction and the 4XF system, Derek emphasizes the alignment of Faith, Family, Fitness, and Finance, creating a framework for sustainable personal growth and fulfillment. His leadership philosophy centers on building strong communities, fostering accountability, and restoring the sense of connection and mission often lost after athletics. As a board member, Dr. Price is a vital asset to the Foundation, helping advance its mission to develop leaders, strengthen mental resilience, and create lasting impact through athletics.

DeChon Burns

  • Football Coach at Linfield Christian School, Burns has spent over a decade building a program rooted in accountability, character, and high performance—developing dozens of college athletes while mentoring hundreds of young men in life beyond the game. His professional background includes coaching roles with NFL organizations such as the Washington Redskins, San Francisco49ers and Philadelphia Eagles, along with collegiate stops at programs like the University of Florida and UTEP. He has also contributed to the UFL’s Sacramento Mountain Lions and prestigious all-star events including the East-West Shrine Game and Texas vs. The Nation Game, giving him a unique ability to translate elite-level standards into practical, developmental systems for student-athletes. Beyond the field, Burns is deeply committed to holistic growth, serving as a mentor, educator, and speaker who integrates leadership, faith, and personal responsibility into everything he teaches. His impact continues nationally through involvement in premier events like the All-American Bowl, where he helps shape the next generation of top football talent. DeChon Burns embodies the mission of developing leaders through athletics—combining elite experience, transformational coaching leadership, and purpose-driven mentorship to influence athletes, programs, and communities at the highest level.

Janell Batt

  • classroom, and in life. She currently serves as Dean of Students and Title I Program Lead at McClintock High School in Tempe, Arizona, where she leads student culture and support systems focused on connection, accountability, and growth. As a former nonprofit founder and CEO, Janell has created and scaled programs impactingthousands of youth, grounded in the belief that strong relationships drive lasting change.Janell brings energy, consistency, and heart to everything she does. Her work sits at the intersection of education, athletics, and life development, with a deep commitment to building character, leadership, and long-term impact. Janell holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Arizona State University, and is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach.

Ben Monnette

  • the Middle East, where he led and advised partner forces in complex, high-risk environments. His expertise in intelligence collection, human behavior, and performing under pressure—paired with advanced Special Operations training, including earning his Ranger Tab and Combat Diver qualifications—shapes his ability to develop resilient, disciplined leaders.In his post-military career, Ben serves as the National Director of DoD Programs & Partnerships at Recon Supply, where he works to expand access to critical medical technologies across Military Treatment Facilities by navigating federal procurement systems. He is also the founder of Chattanooga Fit, a community-based fitness and wellness platform built on connection and accountability. Through his experiences, Ben is a powerful asset to the Foundation, helping drive its mission to build strong, resilient leaders and positively impact athletes, coaches, and communities through intentional development and service.

Brandii Goodin

  • with both Fortune 500 companies and small family-owned businesses, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the unique financial challenges organizations face at every stage of growth. In 2019, Brandii founded BFG Accounting with the goal of providing personalized accounting and tax solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. Her expertise includes tax preparation andcompliance, financial record management, and identifying opportunities and risks that help clients make informed financial decisions and achieve long-term success. In 2026, she further expanded her professional credentials by obtaining her Enrolled Agent (EA) license, demonstrating her advanced expertise in taxation and her commitment to serving clients at the highest level.. Known for her collaborative and client-focused approach, Brandii is committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality. She works diligently to ensure clients receive accurate, dependable guidance while adhering to accounting regulations and GAAP standards. She also believes in fostering a supportive workplace culture that values professional growth, teamwork, and work-life balance. Outside of her professional life, Brandii is a proud wife and mother of three wonderful children. Her personal journey reflects perseverance and determination, balancing motherhood and higher education as a single parent while earning her accounting degree before meeting her husband in 2010. When she is away from the office, she enjoys glamping, hiking, staying active outdoors, and continuously expanding her knowledge to better serve both her clients and her team.

Shane Phillips

  • Financial Bank & Trust, he has built a reputation for strategic leadership, trusted relationships, and helping businesses and individuals navigate complex financial decisions with a client-first approach. Beyond his professional career, Shane has demonstrated a deep commitment to serving families and communities. In 2004, he founded The Children’s Grief Education Association, providing free grief counseling services to hundreds of children before later merging the organization into the HeartLight Center, where he continues to serve on the Board of Directors. He also leads financial education programs and facilitates grief support groups within his community. A passionate advocate for youth development and mentorship, Shane’s leadership, service mindset, and extensive community relationships align closely with the mission of the More Than The Scoreboard Foundation to develop leadership, character, and life growth opportunities for student-athletes beyond the scoreboard.

Paul Seidenkranz

  • creating long-term organizational impact. Today, Paul works closely with executive leadership teams, helping organizations strengthen leadership effectiveness, build resilient cultures, and align people around a shared vision for sustainable growth. His approach combines decades of real-world business experience with a deep understanding of communication, human performance, and organizational transformation. Paul’s commitment to service began early in his career as a First Responder and Firefighter in Minnesota, where he served for ten years. His passion for conservation led him to partner with Trout Unlimited on efforts to restore miles of trout streams throughout Southeastern Minnesota. n addition to his business ventures, Paul has co-founded and served on multiple nonprofit boards, supporting organizations focused on community development, leadership, and service. His dedication to personal growth and leadership excellence was further strengthened through three years in the Unbeatable Mind Inner Circle. Guided by gratitude, service, and a belief in continual growth, Paul brings a thoughtful and purpose-driven perspective to leadership, helping individuals and organizations create meaningful impact while remaining fully present to the opportunities of today.
